Newaygo Conservation District

Fremont Office Center

October 1st marks the start of the new fiscal year for all 75 Conservation District’s across the state! From our staff to you, we thoroughly enjoy being your primary contact for natural resource information, support and leadership.

Newaygo Conservation District's Fremont Office Center is open during the week Monday-Thursday, 8:30am - 11:30am, and closed on Fridays, with the option to schedule appointments outside of these hours. Aside from the office center in Fremont, you will find our staff in the field assisting landowners and partners or at the Tree Nursery and Kropscott Farm Environmental Center.

USDA NRCS is located in our office center and is open Monday-Friday, and can be reached at 231-924-2060, extension 3.
2025 Natural Resource Assessment Survey helps the district prioritize resources for our residents' most essential needs, allowing us to promote and implement voluntary conservation. The link below is a ten minute survey. Responses are anonymous.

Thank you again for your participation!

Newaygo Conservation District is an independent unit of state government which has a philosophy and commitment to the stewardship and
conservation of the environment. The NCD consults with landowners to educate them in the planning and use of their land. The U.S. Department of
Agriculture (USDA) prohibits discrimination in all of its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, and where
applicable, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, genetic information, reprisal, or because all
