Fremont Area Community Foundation remains our largest funding source for the Kropscott Farm Environmental Center (KFEC) education program. Their support is a key partnership in our sustainability plan to continue the mission of KFEC. If you have enjoyed a day of education out at the farm or throughout Newaygo County, please continue to share with Newaygo Conservation District, owner and operator of KFEC, your letters of support. We kindly ask you email them to [email protected] by February 1st of every year. Each individual plays a vital role in the continuation of KFEC's education for today and tomorrow!

A special thank you to The Gerber Foundation for supporting our Summer Daytime Science Youth Retreat! Est. July 21, 2025.

Newaygo Conservation District is an independent unit of state government which has a philosophy and commitment to the stewardship and
conservation of the environment. The NCD consults with landowners to educate them in the planning and use of their land. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) prohibits discrimination in all of its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, and where applicable, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, genetic information, reprisal, or because all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.) Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication of program information (Braille, large print, audiotape, etc.) should contact USDA'sTARGET Center at (202) 720-2600 (voice and TDD).
