 NATIVE PLANT SALE

The Newaygo Conservation District is excited to provide our Annual Native Plant Sale on June 8, 2012 at the Newaygo Conservation District Office, 940 W. Rex Street, Fremont, Michigan.  (Native plants are plants that are native to Michigan and have adapted to Michigan’s soils and climate.)

Native Plant Order deadline for orders:  May 25, 2012 – a variety of plants will be available for purchase on pickup day, including some not on the order form.

The District will also offer a 2 hour workshop, FREE, in conjunction with native plant sale (to be determined) provided by Designs By Nature, LLC.  This workshop will provide:  garden designs, site selection, site preparation, plant selection, installation and maintenance.

Rain Barrels-

Composting Bins-

“Convert all those table and kitchen scraps into a rich organic soil to provide needed nutrients to plants and trees in your landscape.  These are available at a discounted price of $75.00 each.
